How we use data

We use collected data to operate the service, bill usage, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

AI processing

Manuscript and listing prompts are sent to configured AI providers to generate content. Do not submit sensitive personal data you do not want processed by third-party models.

Payments

Payment card data is handled by Stripe; BookWizard stores subscription status and wallet balance, not full card numbers.

Your KDP account

Exports are delivered to you for upload to kdp.amazon.com. BookWizard does not access your Amazon seller credentials.

Chrome extension

The optional Book Wizard for KDP browser extension uses your existing BookWizard session to read saved listing drafts and suggest field values on kdp.amazon.com. You approve each apply; the extension does not auto-publish or store Amazon passwords.

Referrals & payouts

If you join the referral program, we store referral codes, commission records, and payout status. Payouts may be processed via Stripe Connect using information you provide for tax and banking compliance.

Retention & deletion

We retain account and billing records as needed for operations and legal compliance. You may request account deletion via support; some billing records may be retained where required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Marketing pages may use analytics to understand traffic patterns.
